Turmeric avocado salad dressing

Ingredients:

  • ½ avocado
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • ½ tsp. ginger powder
  • 2 tsps. honey (use agave nectar for vegan)
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup olive or avocado oil
  • salt to taste

Method:

-Mix well all ingredients in a blender. You can keep any unused portion in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Healthy salad dressings

 

Cardamom Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 lemons (juiced)
  • 2 tbsps. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. ground cardamom
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Method:

-Mix the lemon juice, vinegar, mustard, cardamom and add salt and black pepper to taste.

-While still whisking, add the olive oil in a slow and steady stream to obtain a creamy consistency.

 

Lemon chia seed dressing

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsps. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsps. chia seeds
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsps. white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsps. honey (use agave nectar for vegan)
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Method:

-Mix all ingredients and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
